I don’t want to be on ANY of that Santa’s lists.

This gruesome display might turn your stomach until you find out how irresistibly delicious it all is. Just in time for Halloween, Jessy Ellenberger of Oakland, California, created this awesome Human Torso Appetizer plate (aka the “ManWich”) using “puff pastry to create the majority of the organs, white bean dip and hummus for the lungs, pâté for the liver (how apropos), smoked salmon for the skin, cream cheese for the (cheeseball) stomach, a dark red beet for the heart, a salami for the colon, and then tops it off with a tiny pickle for the gallbladder.”

“…I chose to do lungs, a heart, liver, gallbladder, stomach, colon and intestines. Some organs are missing, I know. ;) But I couldn’t get it all in there AND make it look nice!

I also decided to do little bits of spine coming out the top and bottom of the torso. I made tiny ribs out of the puff pastry too.”

Are you hungry yet? The only thing missing is a decanter of blood-red wine. A perfect spread to share with your friends on All Hallows’ Eve.

Happy Summer Solstice! Why not celebrate “summer ways” by combining canned fruit with green olives?? F**KING YUM. (Or you could prepare a summer faire feast and celebrate the fruits of the season—quite literally).
April 17th - HAPPY CHEESE BALL DAY! (I’m not even kidding.) We should probably celebrate.

spa-themed cheese ball.

This makes me uncomfortable… probably because it reminds me of the episode of star trek where deanna troi is a cake.
